Intel Atom N280 Processor on Asus Eee PC 1000HE

Asus Eee PC 1000he is the first netbook use Intel’s new Intel Atom N280 processor. The chip’s specs indicate slight improvements over the Intel Atom N270 processor.
Intel Atom N280 Processor is slightly more potent than Intel Atom N270; the new chip has a speed of 1.66GHz and a 667MHz frontside bus, compared with the latter’s 1.6GHz and 533MHz bus. Intel is also including new GN40 integrated graphics, compared with the N270’s Intel 945GSE graphics.
This Asus Eee PC 1000he runs on Windows XP Home, 160GB – 5,400rpm hard drive, 1GB of DDR2 RAM, 9.5-hour battery life figure for its 8,700mAh lithium ion unit and Bluetooth wireless.
