Intel Core i7 Will Launch in 2010

News of the Intel Core i7, although in this case refers to a medium / long term. The Core i7 low and currently under development and could be launched in early 2010.
We would be talking about microprocessors similar to the current i7 with four cores and 45 nanometers, falling to Lynnfield with a performance somewhat below what we have today. The main innovation comes to energy consumption, which could lose the 130 at 65 watts TDP, a dramatic improvement that would make the Core i7 low micros were the ideal for compact desktops.
These chips would be the successor to the current Core 2 Quad S, presented a few weeks ago and little used by manufacturers. However, in electronics suggest that Apple would be elected to renew its existing CPU iMac, but from my point of view I think the wait is too long. I think that, at least initially, Apple updated the iMac with an Intel Core microprocessor i5, whose launch date is scheduled for September or October, and for later (in January / February 2010) add a new micro i7 low the family.
What does seem certain is that the Core i7 remain low key features of the current i7 four kernels that emulate eight threads, memory controller integrated on the chip, instead of QuickPath FSB and support for DDR3 memory type . But, wait … a year is going to do very long.

Other news on Intel, which has jumped to the arena this morning indicates that no longer sell the Core 2 Extreme Quad next June. Will the QX9650 and QX9770 models, and is given the fact that in the next month, July is usually a time for presentations of new products. Probably by then we have the presentation of the Core i5, or new models of i7. Or maybe both.
