Sony Ericsson Elm and Sony Ericsson Hazel – Green Heart of environmentally

Sony Ericsson Monday introduced two new devices in the so-called Green Heart of environmentally-line mobile phones. Sony Ericsson Elm and Sony Ericsson Hazel, as the phones are called, according to Sony Ericsson among others contribute to the reduction of CO2 because they are made of recycled plastic. They are also supplied with a charger with low power (EP310 Green Heart) and minimal packaging.
The Green Heart phones do not contain hazardous chemicals and do not come with a thick paper manual, but in an electronic phone. The phones are also eco-Walk Mate application and a ‘green calculator’.
The Sony Ericsson Elm is a candybar model and Sony Ericsson Hazel a slider. The specifications of both devices are nearly identical: a 5 megapixel autofocus camera with LED flash, 3G, A-GPS, Wi-Fi, stereo Bluetooth, FM radio with RDS, Google Maps, SensMe, TrackID and a microSD slot. Both phones come with a Green Heart personal handsfree (HPM-60J). The Elm has a 2.2 inch screen with 262k colors, while the Hazel a 2.6 inch display with 16 million colors.
The Sony Ericsson Hazel and Elm are both in the first half of 2010 on the market, the Elm in the first quarter and Hazel in the second. Prices are not yet known.
